Using Your Facial Features to Choose the Right Glasses

It is very important that you choose the right glasses for you. If not, then everyone who looks at you is going to notice the poor fitting glasses before they notice anything else about you. That is the curse of glasses: they are the first thing that individuals see when they look at your face. If they look bad, they?re going to be noticed. If they look good, they’re going to be noticed. Either way, they are going to be noticed. There is no hiding behind a black curtain in this case.

The best way to find the right glasses for you is to use your facial features. You must accentuate good features and calm down bad features. It is amazing how the right pair of glasses can make you look entirely different. It is kind of like a face lift without actually having surgery.

The only way your new glasses are going to work is if you abide by what your facial features are telling you. Here are the different facial types and what style of glasses are the best for those types:

- The round face: The jaw bone and brow lines are softer with a round face. This means that the length and the width of the face are about the same. The idea is to find glasses that will make the face look thinner and not so short. The glasses that you want if you have this face type is a pair that is wide and narrow. This means the rectangular style of glasses will be best. If the glasses have a brow bar, the glasses will give the appearance of the eye being pulled upward.

- The long face: This is when the face has more length than width, so you know you don’t want a rectangular frame. Individuals with long faces also tend to have long noses, so there is a desire to shorten that up as well. Glasses with horizontal lines that are strong with a sort of triangular shape to them may work, as well as glasses that are round and less narrow. For the long nose, having a low bridge will help with that.

- The oval face: The oval face is the perfect face shape and is the easiest to choose eyeglasses for. This means that, if you have an oval face, you can choose any type of glasses you want.

- The heart shape face: The jaw line is small, but the forehead is wide. The idea is to minimize the width of the face with an oval pair of glasses. This equalizes the width between your forehead and your jaw line. Rectangular and rimless are also options with this face type.

- The rectangular face: This face already has a strong square shape, so it is ideal to stick with circular frames to make the strong square features a bit softer. The nose is also a bit long, so the circular frames will shorten it up a bit.

- The square face: The angles for the brow lines and the jaw are quite strong. The face is long as it is wide, so the idea is to make the face seem thinner and to reduce those strong angles. That means the ideal pair of glasses is oval frames that are narrow. That will soften up all of those strong angles and make your face look softer.

If you are still not sure of your face shape, ask your optometrist or someone trained in the field so that they can tell you. That way you can pick the perfect pair of eye glasses and look great!

Foods for Homemade Facial Skin Care

There are many foods that make great facial cleansers. Many foods have nutrients that are good for your skin. The best skin care is natural skin care and what is more natural than food.

Oatmeal and honey make a great a natural facial skin care treatment. A natural skin care recipe using oatmeal and honey is to make a cup of oatmeal, just like you would for breakfast. While the oatmeal is thickening and cooling down, mix in 2 tablespoons of honey, you can also add 2 tablespoons of plain or strawberry yogurt and the juice squeezed from one lemon. Lemon contains natural astringents. This should form a good paste. Apply a layer to your face, avoiding the eyelids. If you get any in your eyes, rinse it out with warm water. After it dries wash it off with warm water, follow with cold water.

Complaints About Nutrisystem? Not If You Read This!

This diet has been all over the television. There is even one spokeswoman who says that she has lost weight twice with the program. People have lost as few as thirty-five pounds and as much as 125 pounds with the program.

The NutriSystem diet is based on the glycemic index. This number is based on the effect different foods have on the blood sugar. Foods with a high glycemic index cause more insulin to be secreted therefore causing hunger to return quicker when these particular foods are consumed. Foods with a lower glycemic index lead to a more stable blood sugar and energy throughout the day. There are no spikes in insulin levels so you are less hungry and more satisfied with your meals.

This is a meal delivery plan. Food provided by NutriSystem is shipped to your home every four weeks. The process used to package the foods means that they do not need to be refrigerated. Easy to follow instructions tell you how to prepare each dish.

The meals are proportioned to provide low glycemic index foods and just the right kinds of nutrients. The good carbs in the dishes cause very rapid weight loss with very little effort. The weight, according to the plan, just melts away.

The Nutrisystem Plan encourages participants to eat low fat milk, dairy, salads, and fruits to each prepackaged meal. The plan focuses on eliminating the bad carbs that most people gorge on everyday. This diet realizes that protein is protein but the primary reason people gain weight is because they overeat bad carbohydrates that are high glycemic foods. Processed carbs spike insulin in the blood while carbs derived from whole grains help stabilize insulin.

So what choices do you have when it comes to a wrinkle cream that will be effective against those fine lines of old age? It is important to know that not every wrinkle cream is the same and not to be confused by all the different recommendations you will encounter. Ingredients vary with each type of cream. The main ingredients are Aloe Vera, collagen and elastin, and anti toxins.

Most of the good brands will have ingredients that will help to diminish wrinkles, but their effectiveness will depend on your skin type. For example you will find some types of skin that do not develop wrinkles as easily as others. Genes can play a part in this. Just by looking at your Parents you can observe whether one of them looks more youthful. Perhaps you will be able to inherit their genes and look younger than your age.

The first wrinkles that appear are probably the hardest to deal with. They are the first signs of aging and almost no one wants to admit they are getting older. For most people this is when the panic mode sets in and people start looking for products that will help them to get rid of those first little lines.

Where Do I Start if I Want to Lose Body Fat?

All right, so you have read a few of these articles, completed your research and now you’re lastly prepared to start a diet and exercise course. And you keep asking yourself something you still need to know, where do I start? We often have trouble making sense of all the good advice that has been offered. Well today you are in luck!

Before we get into this let me make one thing clear. It is virtually impossible to know everything there is to know about diet and exercise. If everyone waited until they knew everything in order to get started no one would get started. What we first need to do is to construct a plan. Our plan will be simplified but will be enough to get you on the right track.

Set your goals. If you don’t know what you want or what you are doing you will be less likely to get where you want to go. You also will not have the same determination as you could have. If you don’t have a picture of what you want in your mind you will be less motivated. Here are some sample questions you can ask yourself. What sort of time frame am I looking at? Do I want a smaller waist? Do I want bigger arms? What measurements am I looking for?

When you have finished with this it won’t do any harm to jot down your answers to a few of these questions as a reference for the future. If you have to, you may document some data that may be related to your questions - stats such as measurements or weight. You can find out how good your results are by having something to compare them to.

Put your menu together and include the proper quantities. A sufficient amount of people find it difficult to know how much, or how little food to take. In my opinion, to ensure the best accuracy, multiply your current bodyweight by 10. That should be the regular amount of calories you intake per day. Keep in mind that a true reflection of your weight is obtained by weighing yourself the first thing in the morning minus your clothes.

Start developing your exercise regime. If you want permanent lasting results you may want to consider weight training even though it is not required. Running and other low-impact exercises are adequate ways to exercise.

You should start to meet your fitness goals with this plan. After you have laid your foundation in this manner, you can build upon it with new information as you acquire it.

What Is Weight Watchers Point List?

Weight watchers, one of the most successful weight loss plans in the United States of America. In fact this plan re-creates itself every few years just to make it relevant for its many users and keep it and keep the users interested. At base Weight Watchers plan is founded on the points system and relies heavily on group support.

Each starting weight category is assigned a range of points. This is the number of points that can be eaten in a day. According to the plan, as long as a person stays within that point range each day, they will lose weight. There are no food restrictions with Weight Watchers diets. They can have half of their calories come from a piece of cake as long as they don?t go over the daily point limit.

As a weight watchers dieter you’ll be keeping track of your points in a weekly food journal or using a weight watchers calculator. You can subtract the total points of everything you eat to determine the points you have remaining. Now members also attend a weekly weigh-in and group meetings. Here you’ll get advice from group leaders and listen and share successes stories and commiserate over the rare story of failure.

We all know that weight fluctuates often, weekly, daily and even hour to hour. This can be due to water weight and things like menstrual cycle, for women. Weekly weigh-ins do track progress but can sometimes be discouraging to the person who is staying within their daily points and exercising but only losing one or two pounds or worse, gaining a pound.

Every food is assigned a point value based on the serving size. Weight Watchers? literature lists several of these foods, but obviously cannot list every food there is. For those foods that do not have a recorded point value, a slide rule is given to calculate that food?s point value. This number is based on fiber, fat, and calories per serving.

The weekly meetings have a small associated cost. Before you weigh-in at the meetings you’ll be charged. It’s inexpensive and if you pay the charge you will have access to the meetings, the support, and the encouragement of fellow attendees. As a bonus you will have access to fantastic online tools as well. The meetings might even be conducted at your workplace is there are enough employees that are interested in participating.

Weight Watchers has expanded their diet to include chocolate candies, cereals, breads, yogurt, and frozen meals. Even other frozen entrees not sold by the company have the Weight Watchers point values on their boxes. Weight Watchers has several plans to fit the needs of the dieter.

Exercise is encouraged after the first few weeks. Be aware that a person on the Weight Watchers plan needs to read as much information as is made available to them in order to get the biggest benefit from eating health. Although the Weight Watcher?s diet plan allows participants eat what they want, doing so will more than likely backfire when beginning to exercise. If someone is not ingesting the right combination of foods, exercise will not help the weight to come off. This is the cause of many dieters spinning their wheels and finding themselves getting nowhere fast with their weight loss goals.

Now if you get a used a Weight Watchers diet you need to know that the daily points are merely a guideline. The most important part about dieting is learning how to create a healthy lifestyle. That’s your goal and that’s why you’re starting to die. One of the drawbacks and one of the greatest strengths of the Weight Watchers diet is that you are required to keep the written history of everything that you eat. In my opinion this is fantastic because you’ll have written documentation that shows you exactly how to lose weight. You will be able to refer back to your documents and understand they did it before, see how you did it and be able to do it again in the event that you need to lose weight in the future.

Lose That Unwanted Weight

People find these days to get ahead in life with social and career success you need more then just brains, your physical appearance can have a great impact. It is not morally correct to judge someone by physical appearance alone, people have this image that to be successful you need to be fit in both physical and moral aspects.

Keeping yourself in great shape is becoming a worldwide epidemic with obesity on the rise everywhere.

Always look at your diet first, then see what what you can cut down on to get rid of those excess kilograms. You will have then taken the first step of your journey.

Do you rely heavily on chips, soft drinks or junk food to get through the day? Vegetables and fruits are a must, Are you eating enough? Whilst you might enjoy the occasional spoiling of a hamburger, chips and a soft drink as a satisfying combination, it can also pose a deadly health hazard to your health. To stay fit you must stop eating high-powered food that contains too much energy.

Your body doesn’t like to waste energy, and a lot of the foods you eat- like hamburgers and chips, are very high in energy. So if you eat a lot of these and live a lethargic lifestyle then your body will contain a lot more energy then it needs.

But energy can’t be thrown away, so it is then converted into fat. This is why you need to stop eating junk and start eating fresh fruits and vegetables to live a healthier lifestyle.

The next step is to get active. While a healthy diet makes sure you don’t consume more energy then you need, excercise is needed to help get rid of the energy already stored. It’s ok to take a brisk walk after a meal, it’s good to exercise half an hour a day, and it’s perfect to go to the gym an hour a day, 5 days a week.

Taking brisk walks after meals is OK, exercising half an hour per day is good, going to a gym for an hour or so five days a week is perfect. There’s no need to starve or exhaust yourself. Diet and exercising can be fun with a bit of thinking and a positive attitude.

Lower Your Hospital Bill

I have worked in a lot of different care areas. I have worked on the floor units and in the emergency room and in the intensive care units. For the most part the patients I have cared for were very grateful.

When they are lying in the hospital bed, costs and the bill aren’t upper most in their minds. More than once family members have told me to do everything you can for their loved one, not even considering the cost.

It is when they get home, weeks later, when they receive the bill that the surprise comes. And while most I am sure, feel they should pay a portion of the bill, some are completely dumbfounded how a 3 day hospital stay can rack up tens of thousands of dollars.
